About me

Hey! I'm Justine, the author of The Daily Financial News, and I come from a background in business journalism. I graduated from the University of Missouri in 2015 with a degree and an (almost) empty bank account, heading straight to New York City. During my first year as a reporter in a digital newsroom, I quickly learned how to manage my champagne while on a Bud Light budget.

While at Bankrate, I became obsessed with how far I could stretch my dollar into the (expensive) city that never sleeps. I believe you can live in your life, and am dedicated to showing you how.
